2012 Season Info - Squirts

Sign-On

The 2012 Season Sign-on days (where you bring your paperwork, ID & money) will be on the following dates (common across all clubs):-

• Saturday, 28th January from 8:30am -> 2:30pm, and
• Sunday, 29th January from 8:30am -> 2:30pm, and
• Saturday, 4th February from 8:30am -> 2:30pm, and
• Sunday, 5th February from 8:30am -> 2:30pm

However, we will still sign-on new players well into the season if there are positions available in teams, so please don't hesitate to contact our Registrar, Tanya AUSTIN.

Sign-ons can be done every Monday and Thursday evening at the Clubhouse between 6:00pm -> 8:30pm, or on Saturday morning between 8:00am -> 9:00am commencing Saturday, 24th March 2012.

Play Dates

Play dates will be as per Juniors (Male & Female) but will start on Saturday, 26th March unless teams decide they want to start earlier.

Equipment

Essential Equipment

All players are required to wear:-

• GFC licenced club Match socks†, and
• GFC licenced club Match shorts†, and
• Football boots with moulded studs (or "joggers / gym boots" if their feet are too small for Size 1 Football boots), and
• Shin Pads

to all Squirt sessions and these items can all be purchased from the club.

Pricing is as follows:-

• GFC licenced club Match socks† @ $10
• GFC licenced club Match shorts† @ $20
• Shin Pads @ $10, or $15 with ankle support

Optional Equipment

Optional equipment available for purchase at the club:-

• GFC licensed Training Jersey @ $20 ($15 if bought at same time as your Match shorts)
• Boot bag @ $10
• Football Boots @ $20 (sizes 1 -> 6) for XPD brand and $35 for Nomis brand (all sizes).

Kit

Shortly after Sign-on, each player will get a free:-

• Green/Gold Carry Bag, and
• Size 3 Football.

Fees

Registration Fees

$80 † for 1st Squirt child, then $70 for each sibling who is also a Squirt.

What Our Registration Fees Cover

Our Registration fee structure includes the following:-

• Registration and Insurance with Football Queensland.
• 1 year's Family Membership to the Greenbank Sport & Recreation Club.
• Green/Gold Carry Bag and size 3 Football.
• A Trophy at the End of Year Presentation Day.
• Free access for each playing child to all Carnival rides at the Presentation Day.

Game Fees

$5 each player per game.

The money is:-

• Collected by Team Manager each Game.
• Receipted by Club Treasurer after the Game.

Social Fees

Each team will decide:-

• if they will collect the fee,
• how much it will be (e.g. $1 or $2 etc. per player per week), and
• how they will spend it at the end of the Season.

The money is:-

• Collected by Team Manager each Game.
• Receipted by Club Treasurer after the Game.
