2009 Season Info - Amateur Men

Sign-On

The 2009 Season Sign-on days will be on the following dates:-
  • Saturday, 31st January from 8:30am -> 2:30pm, and
  • Saturday, 7th February from 8:30am -> 2:30pm
However, we will still sign-on new players well into the season if there are positions available in teams, so please don't hesitate to contact our Registrar.

Team Nominations

Teams need to be nominated to Football Brisbane Inc. by Friday, 8th February.

Play Dates

We've nominated Saturday morning for Games.

Training

Training is Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 7:00pm.

Fees

Registration Fees

  • $220.00
Our above Registration fee structure includes the following extras:-
  • 1 year's Membership to the Greenbank Sport & Recreation Club
  • A Trophy at the End of Year Presentation Day
  • Free access for one (1) child to all Carnival rides at the Presentation Day.
It also includes a $20 "Volunteer Levy" component.

This levy will be refunded at the end of the season if any of the following occur:-
  • You contribute two (2) hours of recognised Volunteer work (eg. working in the Canteen or at a Working Bee)
  • You take on the duties of a Team Manager or Coach
  • You take on a Committee or Sub-Committee position.

Game Fees

  • $10 each player per game.
The money is:-
  • Collected by Team Manager each Saturday.
  • Receipted by Club Treasurer either after the Game, or if at an "Away Game", the following Tuesday at Training.

Social Fees

Each team will decide:-
  • if they will collect the fee,
  • how much it will be (e.g. $1 or $2 etc. per player per week), and
  • how they will spend it at the end of the Season.
The money is:-
  • Collected by Team Manager each Saturday.
  • Receipted by Club Treasurer either after the Game, or if at an "Away Game", the following Tuesday at Training.
