2008 Summer Football Comp

We are hosting an SSG & “Rooball” 6-a-side Competition over 10 Friday nights from 5:30pm - starts Friday, 10th October and finishing on Friday, 12th December, 2008.

Note: The 5:30pm starting time may be inconvenient for some teams. Game starting times are "flexible" and once team nominations are closed we will liaise with all Team managers prior to the start of the competition to endeavour to have a draw which suits everyone.

Pricing is $3 per player per game. Maximum team sizes are six (4 + 2) for "Squirts" & U6, seven (5 + 2) for U7 & U8 and eight (6 + 2) for U9 & U10.

All competitors will receive a trophy at presentation ceremony after final game on Friday, 12th December.

As per Football Brisbane, games will run according to the "Small Sided Games" format - no scoring, no finals - it will be just a great Summer season of Football!

To register your Team, complete the online Team Nomination Form below or you can download the Nomination Form.

The paper Nomination Form should be either handed in to Officials at Greenbank Soccer Club Inc., or mailed to the Secretary, Greenbank Soccer Club Inc, P O Box 1118, Park Ridge QLD 4125 by no later than Friday, 3rd October 2008.

Note: All players must be registered with Football Brisbane (as FBI insurance is valid until 31st Dec 2008, and therefore covers them for this competition).

Full canteen facilities will be available. A “Player of the Match” prize (free “Rainbow Smash slurpie” voucher redeemable at Club Canteen) will be awarded to a single player in each team in each game by the game's SSG Coordinator.

If you have any queries, please contact the club President or Vice President.

SSG and “Rooball” 6-a-side Competition Teams

Teams can be made up of players from any similar aged team from your club (or any other club).

If your child wants to play, but your team is not interested in entering, please contact Peter KORTGE and he will arrange to place your child into an existing team that is short players.
